Elections: Momentum Under Investigation

The Electoral Commission is investigating Momentum in reference to spending during the 2017 General Election. They said they spent £38,743 which is under the limit of £39,000 for an 'unauthorised registered non-party campaign group'. People are pointing out that Momentum appears to be quite misunderstood, e.g. https://twitter.com/OwenJones84/status/938769425003696130 https://www.newstatesman.com/politics/elections/2017/12/momentum-under-investigation-spending-057-cent-what-brexit-campaign-did
